WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?
Turn The Tide Arts is a project and studio in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
We are a registered UK charity aiming to provide free arts opportunities to people in the town and surrounding areas.
Turn The Tide Arts is showing how everyone can make imaginative objects from materials around their homes. By shaping discarded, found or nostalgic keepsakes finding new meanings and pleasure in there making.
The project is lead by Hugh Tessier, a local artist making sculptures, jewellery and more. His work explores the abundance of things usually discarded or rejected, to find new purpose and meaning.
